Viking Appliance Repair in Dallas–Fort Worth
Viking pro-style ranges and built-in refrigerators are all over DFW kitchens that got remodeled in the 2000s, from Preston Hollow to Southlake. A lot of them are 15 to 20 years old now. They’re built heavy, and most of the time fixing one costs a lot less than replacing it with something that fits the same opening.
We’ve been fixing appliances in Dallas–Fort Worth for more than 25 years, and our techs are factory trained. The service call is $150, and we waive it if you go ahead with the repair. Parts and labor are covered for 90 days.
What we see most on Viking
- Burners that click but won’t light, or keep clicking after they light. Usually a wet or dirty burner cap, a cracked igniter, or a spark module. A pot boiling over is the classic way it starts.
- Oven slow to heat or running cold. On gas ovens it’s often the bake igniter getting weak. It still glows, just not hot enough to open the gas valve.
- Convection fan noise. Bearings wear out on older units. You’ll hear it as a grinding or rattle when the fan kicks on.
- Built-in refrigerator running warm. Most of the time it’s a dirty condenser or a fan, not the sealed system. Dallas summers make a dirty condenser show up fast.
- Door hinges and gaskets on the built-ins. The doors are heavy, and hinges and gaskets wear.
Before you call
Find the model and serial tag. On a Viking range it’s usually behind the kick panel or on the frame when you open the oven door. On a built-in fridge it’s up top inside the fresh-food section. A photo of the tag sent by text saves a lot of back and forth, and it means we can check on parts before we come out.
