Gaggenau is the top line in the Bosch family (BSH). In DFW we mostly see it in custom homes and high-rise condos: 400 and 200 series wall ovens, combi-steam ovens, Vario gas and induction cooktops, and the Vario built-in refrigerators and freezers.

There aren’t many people around who work on it, so owners end up waiting. We’ve been fixing appliances in Dallas–Fort Worth for more than 25 years, and our techs are factory trained. The service call is $150, and we waive it if you go ahead with the repair.

What we see most on Gaggenau

Combi-steam oven errors and slow steam. North Texas water is hard enough that scale builds up. Skipping the descale reminder is the most common cause we find.
Wall oven not heating evenly or showing a fault code. Often a heating element, temperature sensor or door lock.
Vario gas burners slow to light. Moisture or spills on the igniter, or a worn spark module.
Induction zones cutting out. Sometimes it’s the pan, sometimes a fan or a power board. We test before we order anything.
Built-in refrigerator or freezer not holding temp. Check that the vents aren’t blocked by food first. After that it’s usually a fan, sensor or condenser airflow.

Before you call

Write down any code on the display and get the E-Nr and FD numbers off the rating plate. On wall ovens it’s on the frame when you open the door. Gaggenau parts can take a while, and having those numbers lets us check before we come out.
