Bosch Dishwasher Error Codes

Bosch dishwashers show an E code when something stops the cycle. These are the ones we see most. Codes can differ by model, so check your manual too.

Common codes

CodeWhat it usually means
E15Water in the base pan. The leak protection shut the dishwasher down. Something is leaking inside.
E24Drain problem. Usually a kinked drain hose or a blocked disposal inlet.
E25Drain pump blocked. Glass, a bone or a label is often caught in the pump cover.
E22Filter clogged. Clean the filter.
E09 / E01Heating problem. Often the heat pump or heating circuit.

What to do

For E24, E25 and E22, turn the power off and clean the filter and the pump cover under it. For E15, something is leaking into the base, and that needs a tech.

The service call is $150, waived if you go ahead with the repair, and the repair is covered for 90 days on parts and labor.
