Sub-Zero Repair in Dallas–Fort Worth
A Sub-Zero built-in is made to run 20 years or more, and most of the ones we work on are worth fixing. On a lot of the classic built-ins the condenser and compressor sit up top behind the grille. In a hot Dallas kitchen, that condenser picks up dust and pet hair fast, and that’s behind a good share of “it’s running warm” calls.
We’ve been fixing appliances in Dallas–Fort Worth for more than 25 years, and our techs are factory trained. The service call is $150, and we waive it if you go ahead with the repair. Parts and labor are covered for 90 days.
What we see most on Sub-Zero
- Running warm or running all the time. Dirty condenser first, then condenser and evaporator fans. Real sealed-system problems happen, but less often than people expect.
- Ice maker not making ice. Water valve, a frozen fill tube, or the ice maker itself. Low water pressure after a plumbing job is a common one.
- Water under the unit or in the crisper. Usually a plugged drain line or drain pan.
- Frost or sweating around the door. A worn gasket or a door that’s out of adjustment.
- Loud or new noises up top. Usually the condenser fan.
What you can do first
Pull the top grille and look at the condenser. If it’s furry with dust, that alone can cause trouble. Clean it with a soft brush with the power off. If the fridge still runs warm a day later, call us.
Booking
Call or text (469) 451-0268, Monday to Friday, 8 to 5, or book online. The model tag is usually on a side wall inside the fresh-food section, or up top behind the grille. A photo by text helps.
