We repair top-load and front-load washers all over Dallas–Fort Worth. $150 service call, waived when we do the repair, and a 90-day warranty on parts and labor.
Problems we fix, and the usual causes
- Won’t spin. Lid switch or door lock, a worn drive belt, a bad motor coupling, or a drain problem that stops the spin.
- Won’t drain. Drain pump, or something stuck in it. Socks and coins are the usual suspects on front-loaders.
- Leaking. Inlet hoses, a torn door boot on a front-loader, the drain pump seal, or a tub seal.
- Loud banging on spin. Worn shock absorbers or suspension rods, or a failing tub bearing.
- Won’t fill or fills slowly. Clogged inlet screens or a bad water inlet valve.
- Won’t start, lights blink. Door lock, lid switch or the control board.
Check that the load isn’t all on one side, the drain hose isn’t kinked, and both water valves behind the washer are open. On a front-loader, the small door at the bottom front gets you to the drain filter. See washer not spinning and washer leaking.

Repair or replace?
Pumps, valves, belts, lid switches and door locks are worth fixing on almost any washer. A bad tub bearing on an older front-loader can cost close to a new machine, and we’ll tell you that up front.
