We repair ice machines and ice makers across Dallas–Fort Worth. The service call is $150, waived if we do the repair, with a 90-day parts and labor warranty.
Problems we fix, and the usual causes
- No ice at all. Water inlet valve, a frozen fill tube, a bad ice maker module, or no water to the unit.
- Ice is small, hollow or cloudy. Low water pressure, a clogged filter, or a failing water valve that never fully opens.
- Ice melts together in the bin. Bin thermostat, a warm fridge section, or the harvest cycle not dumping cleanly.
- Leaking water. Cracked fill cup, a loose water line, or ice melting and running out the front.
- Loud grinding or buzzing. A jammed ejector arm, a stripped gear in the module, or a failing circulating pump on a standalone unit.
- Won’t harvest or stuck in freeze. Harvest thermostat, a heater on the evaporator plate, or the control board.
Check that the water line is open and the ice maker switch is on. If it's a fridge ice maker, pull the ice bin out and look for a jammed cube under the ejector. More in ice maker not working.

What happens on the visit
- Call or text (469) 451-0268, or book online. On a fridge ice maker the model tag is inside the fresh-food section. Standalone units usually have it on the back or inside the door.
- A factory-trained tech comes out and finds the cause.
- Go ahead with the repair and the $150 service call is waived.
- The repair is covered for 90 days, parts and labor.
Repair or replace?
Ice maker modules, valves and sensors are normal repairs. On an older undercounter ice machine, a bad compressor or a sealed-system leak is a different conversation, and we'll say so before you spend the money.
