We repair built-in dishwashers across Dallas–Fort Worth. The service call is $150, waived if we do the repair, with a 90-day parts and labor warranty.
Problems we fix, and the usual causes
- Water left in the bottom. Clogged filter, a blocked drain hose or garbage disposal inlet, or a failing drain pump.
- Dishes come out dirty. Clogged spray arms, a dirty filter, low water from a bad inlet valve, or a weak wash pump.
- Won’t dry. Heating element or high-limit thermostat. Many newer models dry with a fan or by condensation, so check the rinse aid first.
- Leaks from the door. Worn door gasket, a cracked spray arm, or too much suds from the wrong detergent.
- Won’t start. Door latch switch, a blown thermal fuse or the control board.
- Grinding or humming. Something caught in the pump, or a wash motor going bad.
Pull out the filter at the bottom of the tub and rinse it. If you just had a new garbage disposal put in, make sure the knockout plug on the dishwasher inlet was removed. That one catches a lot of people. See dishwasher not draining.

What happens on the visit
- Call or text (469) 451-0268, or book online. The model tag is usually on the edge of the door or the side of the tub when you open it.
- A factory-trained tech comes out and finds the cause.
- Go ahead with the repair and the $150 service call is waived.
- The repair is covered for 90 days, parts and labor.
Repair or replace?
Pumps, valves, latches and heating elements are standard fixes. If the tub itself is cracked or rusted through, replacing the dishwasher is usually the better money.
